Wooden Roman Blinds Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain :- How To Make Your Own Roman Blinds ?
Roman blinds are a great way to add window coverings to any room of the house. They are available in a range of fabric types and styles and if bought correctly can look quite classy. Before you choose your Roman blinds dubai however it is important that you take the time to find the right ones for your needs and the installation process isn't as straightforward as you may think. There are a number of different things to consider before putting your blinds up however, including how to fit them to your window frames.
Installation process
How you install your Roman Blinds depends largely on whether you're hanging them from an external or interior mount but in general the installation process is pretty much the same and straightforward. You'll need to measure and make markings for the fixings to attach to the brackets, after which you can safely install the brackets themselves with the required screws provided and the blind should easily fit into the suitable brackets and snap into position. The screws provided should be fitted through the top of the fabric cover so they don't wear through the fabric when hung. You may also want to invest in some pre-made strips of cloth to line the outside edges of your brackets.
Spaced between the fabric panels !
Once you've attached the brackets, you will then want to line the strips right down the middle of the fabric, ensuring that each strip is even in length and not longer than the others. It is important to ensure that the shade is evenly spaced between the fabric panels and the brackets, and you should also stagger the panels so that each one is even. This is especially helpful if you have a more complex design in your ceiling; for example a staircase, or a combination of panels and brackets. It is a good idea to test each slat, lining up the bottom edge with the bottom of the slat, before you hang the Wooden Roman Blinds so that you know how they will fit.
The next step is to place the fabric panel
The next step is to place the fabric panel at the back of the brackets. Each time you screw the slats together, the fabric will be pulled through the holes provided. If the fabric pulls through loosely, then you may have to re-run the screws. Once you are happy with the spacing of the fabric panels, you need to line the outside edges of the Roman blinds with the correct number of strips, again ensuring that each slat is even in length. The easiest way to do this is to stand directly over the window frame with the Roman blinds open, measure the length of the window frame and take that number off, then multiplying by two and by half the number of slats you have left.
To lower the shades
To hang the Roman blinds installation in dubai above your window frame, use two strong points on the frame - about a quarter inch from the ends. Tie the cloth cord to one of the points and start to pull the cord through the holes in the brackets. As you adjust the slats, the cord will run across your window. Be sure to keep the cord evenly weighed down. To lower the shades, just pull the cord until the shades are lowered.
To finish your Roman blinds, attach the eyelet at the top with either a screw or a washer. Then attach the eyelet to the sides with screws or a washer. You should now be able to pull the shades down over the window frame as described above. With care, you can always replace the shades.
